| Programs Available
Resettlement Services:
The program has resettled over 6,000 refugees in the Hartford area since its inception in 1975. Linguistically and culturally appropriate comprehensive resettlement services are designed to facilitate the refugee/asylee acculturation into the United States.

Employment Services:
The program offers employment skill development and supportive services to those refugees ready for employment. The Migration & Refugee Employment unit strives to meet an employment rate of 75% within the first four months of a refugee's arrival.
Immigration Services:
The program offers comprehensive immigration and naturalization support services. These services include application assistance with USCIS immigration forms, adjustment of status/Green Card applications, T & U Visas, passport and travel documents, replacement and renewal of documents such as 1-94 arrival/departure records, family petitions/ reunification, support services to victims of Human Trafficking and Citizenship/ Naturalization application process.
Free Citizenship/Naturalization preparatory classes and mock interviews are taught by BIA accredited representatives at multiple sites throughout the Archdiocese. Please calll for details.
Refugee Healthy Marriage Initiative:
Designed to sustain and support refugee marriages and families, this initiative utilizes strength-based and culturally-relative workshops to build on family strengths while addressing personal challenges. The program is designed to empower refugee couples and families to become more self-sufficient, knowledgeable, confident and productive in their personal relationships and beyond. This program has been integrated into the Asylum Hill Family Center and has partnered with two statewide resettlement agencies to offer a broader spectrum of services and support. It seeks to increase the percentage of premarital and married couples who are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to form and sustain a healthy marriage and become better parents.
Trafficking Services:
A program offered through the Migration & Refugee Services Immigration program which provides wrap around clinical and case management services to individuals that have suffered from sexual and/or employment trafficking both domestically and internationally.
